The Dark Middle Ages is a mailinglist, devoted not only and not so much to
the Middle Ages as historical (cultural and so forth) to the described
period. It is called to generate an image of Middle Ages and  let feeling
the spirit of them. In the given resource you will find not only the
materials devoted to the above mentioned period of  history (contemporary
records, primary sources and so forth), but also the materials devoted to
the events of DMA (Dark Middle Ages) Game.

This is the unique resource.  Its founders were lucky to make not only the
game, but the new world. 20-25 real persons participate in a gameparty.
Each of them has name, the name of his(her) State and a flag. It happened
so, that many of the participants take and adapt really living and
history-known personals. (Eor example, in the 15 party there were Spane,
Sweden, Easter Island, the Siberian Princedom. Yes, certainly, carried on
time, territory but, really existing.) And besides names and names of
really living characters, many players also operate according to the chosen
heroes (for example, Michael The Tver, Konnung Edward, King Spanish and
other).

The situation is abiding even when we deal with diplomacy, contracting an
alliance and in the choice of orientation the direction of state
development, regardless of the fact that it is a game. And  to strengthen
this thin connection in our list we publish pure HISTORICAL materials.
