Daily Affirmations

February 11, 2004

Affirmations for self-esteem:

I see myself as loved, accepted, and highly esteemed.

I love myself, and I allow others to express love to me.

My self-talk is loving and supportive.

I treat myself with kindness and respect.

I am a worthy individual. I deserve the best of life.

Today's Quote:

Remember, that self-esteem is made up of both self-worth and self-trust. Self-worth is simply the feeling of being glad that you are you. Self-trust is the functional belief in your own ability positively and effectively to control what happens to you in a world of uncertainty.

Affirmations are positive statements of Truth. By the use of affirmations we claim and appropriate all that belongs to us according to God's plan.

To affirm means to make firm, to make visible, to establish. Practice of affirmations implies that there is a great unseen world, spiritual realm, or the kingdom of God as Jesus termed it. Perfect divine ideas that eternally exist in this realm are being manifested, when we embrace them and speak them out, with faith and boldness.

Affirmation proclaims the Truth of Being, even in the face of contrary circumstances. By doing this, it builds our faith and releases mighty spiritual forces that begin their invisible work in our life. Affirmation is like a seed, that, being thrown into the spiritual realm grows until becomes visible in the physical realm and brings forth an abundant harvest.
