Rules of establishment of the country of origin of goods were amended

In accordance with the Decision of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of August 20, 2008 No. 1205 the Decision of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of October 10, 2007 No. 1306 On certain matters concerning establishment of the country of origin of goods were amended as follows: if the legislation of the country, where goods are to be exported from the territory of the Republic of Belarus, provides for other rules of establishment of the country of origin of goods than those specified in the Belarusian legislation, the former rules may be applied unless otherwise established in the international agreements between the above countries. If production or process ing of goods dont entail changes of the status of their origin, the country of origin of such goods is certified by the conclusion of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
