Insurance Activity Regulations Changed

Various changes into the legal acts regulating insurance activities have been introduced by the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 236 of 28 April 2008. In particular, the Edict made amendments in the Statute of Belarusian Bureau on Transport Insurance which supervises road vehicle owners liability insurance system functioning in Belarus; in the Edict No 530 of 25 August 2006 On insurance activity; in the Edict No. 531 of 25 August 2006 On Establishing Amounts of Insurance Tariffs, Insurance Premiums, Liability Limits for Some Kinds of Obligatory Insurance.

The Edict entered into force on 5 May 2008.
