   New Measures on Facilitating Realization of Investment Projects Financed by
External Loans Approved
   
   New measures on facilitating the realization of investment projects financed
by external state loans (credits) included in the list of projects to be approved
by the Council of Ministers have been established by Edict of the President of
the Republic of Belarus No. 168 of 21 March 2008. The measures comprise, in particular,
exemption of legal persons  residents of the Republic of Belarus from payment
of customs duties and value-added tax when importing technological equipment
to Belarus for realization of such projects.
