Legislation of Road Circulation Changed
On 5 January 2008 the President of the Republic of Belarus signed the new Law On Road Circulation which defines legal and organizational grounds of the road circulation in the Republic
of Belarus. It determines powers of different state bodies in regulating road circulation and requirements to be fulfilled for admission of vehicles in circulation and for issuance of driver licenses. The Law enters into force in 10 days after its official publication.
Government of the Republic of Belarus established rules for functioning of the National Fund of Technical Normative Legal Acts
The Government of Belarus approved, by its Decision No.16 of 8 January 2008, Regulations on National Fund of Technical Normative Legal Acts and Rules for making use of the National Fund of Technical Normative Legal Acts. The Decision provides that the National Fund of Technical Normative Legal Acts is being formed and maintained by the State Committee on Standardization which has to
ensure access to technical normative legal acts included in the Fund for all legal and natural persons. The Decision enters into force on the day of its official publication.
