The President of the Republic of Belarus changes legislation concerning customs regulations

By the Edict No. 425 of September 10, 2007, the President of the Republic of Belarus has brought the existing legislation in accordance with the Customs Code of the Republic of Belarus. The Edict has also declared invalid some acts of the President regarding the activities of customs bodies and Belarus free economic zones. The document enters into force on the day of official publication.

Rates of season customs duties for imported goods changed

In accordance with the Decision of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 1143 of September 6, 2007 the rates of customs duties for some imported goods have been changed till the 1st of January 2008. The goods (listed in the Commodity Nomenclature for Foreign Economic Activity) include onion (code 0703101900), cabbage (code 0704901000), carrot (code 0706100000) and table beet (code 0706909000). The Decision enters into force on the day of official publication.
