Government changes legislation on classification of unassembled or disassembled goods imported into the Republic of Belarus
According to the amendments to the Decision of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 661 of May 26, 2006 introduced by the Decision No. 1070 of August 21, 2007, unassembled or disassembled goods imported into the Republic of Belarus may be classified on a single code of the Commodity Nomenclature for the Foreign Economic Activity of the Republic of Belarus (CN FEA) as finished goods at declarants will, subject to the Rule 2(a) for the Interpretation of CN FEA and dispositions of Article 19 of the Customs Code of the Republic of Belarus. The decision enters into force on the 1st of July 2007.
