New measures for regulation of lumber export adopted
According to the Decision of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 723 of May 31, 2007, the exclusive right to export lumber, except for the products made of lumber imported to the territory of the Republic of Belarus or purchased at exchange trading held by the Open Joint-Stock Company "Belarusian Universal Exchange", belongs to the state and shall be exercised by the organizations authorized by the Republic of Belarus. The export itself may be realized by legal persons or individual entrepreneurs only under foreign trade contracts concluded by the authorized organizations on the basis of commission agreements with such legal persons and individual entrepreneurs .
