   New rates of excises for some excisable goods established
   The Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 221 of May 7, 2007
has changed the rates of excises for some tobacco products. The alterations mainly
concern cigarettes with filter. The Edict enters into force on the first day
of the month following the month of the official publication.
   The President approved the National Program on combating corruption for 2007
-2010 
   
   The President of the Republic of Belarus, A.Lukashenko, approved, by the Edict
No. 220 of May 7, 2007, the National Program on combating corruption for the
years 2007-2010. According to the Edict, the main coordinator of the program
realization shall be the Interdepartmental Commission on combating crime, corruption
and drug trafficking at the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus. 
   The Edict enters into force on the day of its official publication.
