Law of the Republic of Belarus of October 20, 2006 No.173-3 brought in
changes and amendments to the Civil Procedure Code of the Republic of
Belarus.

The Law introduces to the civil legal proceedings preliminary judicial
session as separate independent stage. It also determines purposes, tasks
and order of carrying out preliminary judicial session as well as judges
role in the course of such session.

Government of the Republic of Belarus has determined the amount of payment
for the quotas on imported fish for 2007.

In accordance with the Decision of the Council of Ministers of the Republic
of Belarus of October 14, 2006 No.1350 the amount of payment for the quotas
on imported fish, seafood and products of their processing for 2007 is
established equal to 3000 Br. for a ton.

 

State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus by the Decision of
October 24, 2006 No.103 brought in changes and amendments to its Decision
on export of cultural valuables and copies of archive documents.

According to the Decision the customs permission for transit or export of
cultural valuables of other states through the territory of the Republic of
Belarus can be issued upon the presentation of:

- document of the control of delivery of goods;

- cargo or passenger customs declaration;

- documents issued according to the legislation of the state of origin of
cultural valuables in case of crossing the Belarusian Russian customs
border.

 

State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus by the Decision of
October 24, 2006 No.106 brought in changes to the Instruction on the order
of calculation, payment and control over payment of customs charges for
customs clearance, duties, excises and value added tax.

According to the Decision the formula of recalculation of the sum of
customs duties for customs clearance is excluded from the Instruction in
complying with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of
July 13, 2006 No.443 On Customs Duties, which establishes rates of customs
charges for customs clearance of the goods and the vehicles transferred
through the customs border of the Republic of Belarus, including customs
clearance outside special places and out of operating time of customs
bodies.

 

State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus by the Decision of
September 28, 2006 No.91 brought in changes and amendments to some of its
legal acts concerning:

- regulations on customs warehouse;

- regulations on customs document Cargo customs declaration;

- regulations on the order of customs registration of the goods placed
under customs regime of a duty free shop;

- regulations on warehouses of temporal storage;

- peculiarities of customs clearance of certain goods imported by their
manufacturers.
