The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, by its Decision of August 16, 2006 No.1049, approved the Regulations on the Order of Issuing Permissions to Import, Export or Transit of Opportunistic-Pathogen and Pathogen Genetically Engineered Organisms.

On August 24, 20006 the President of the Republic of Belarus has signed the Edict No. 513 "On Patent Fees". The Edict establishes the rates of patent fees which are collected for performing legally meaningful acts connected with patents on discoveries, utility models, industrial model, sort of plant, registration of topology of integrated circuit, trade mark and service mark, appellation of good origin and granting the right to use appellation of good origin, executing other acts related to objects of industrial property and also connected with the activity of patent agents in the Republic of Belarus.

In accordance with the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus of August 24, 2006 No. 520 banks were exempted from the right of "golden share" (special right of the state to participate in managing economic entities).

By the Decision of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Belarus of August 24, 2006 the Regulations on the Head of Realtor Organization were approved. They determine the requirements to the persons which are appointed to the position of the head (deputy head) of realtor organization, organizational functions and the responsibility of the head of realtor organization.

On August 25, 2006 the Edict of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 530 "On Insurance Activity" was signed. It approved the Regulations on Insurance Activity in the Republic of Belarus.
