Now you can find our legal news and other legal information at http://law.by/. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ September 6, 2004 Decision of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 1002 of August 20, 2004 introduces amendments and alterations to the Decisions of the Council of Ministers No. 1349 of October 17, 2003 and No. 1350 of October 17, 2003. Amendments and alterations were brought into the Regulations on Licensing the Activity Connected with the Turnover (Except for Retail Trade) of Alcohol, Non-Food Alcohol Containing Products, Ethyl Alcohol and Tobacco Goods approved by the decision No. 1349 and Regulations on Licensing of the Retail Trade (Including Alcohol Drinks and Tobacco Goods) approved by the decision No. 1350 and concern the provisions establishing the procedure for suspension and renewal of the licenses. Regulations on licensing of the retail trade were amendment with the provisions concerning the obligatory usage of cash registers, special computer systems and (or) payment terminals for registration of transactions with bank plastic cards. Decision of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus No. 1023 of August 26, 2004 approves the Regulations on State Control and Supervision over the Quality of Food Raw Materials and Food Products in the Republic of Belarus. The Regulations determines the procedure of execution of state control and supervision of the quality of food raw materials and food products at their manufacture and (or) storage and export except the control over quality of grain, flour and mixed fodder, as well as the quality of the imported goods. The state control is carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and food by the State Food Inspection on Quality and Standardization and state inspectors in Oblasts and in regions. Decision of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus No. 68 dated of August 12, 2004 introduces an amendment to the Decision of the State Customs Committee No. 71 of July 31, 2002 approving the Regulations on Procedure of Customs Registration of Vehicles Temporally Imported by Natural Persons to the Customs Territory of the Republic of Belarus. The Regulations were amended with the point concerns the registration of permission for import.
