   According to the Law of August 4, 2004 No. 312-Z the Republic of Belarus has
accessed to the Protocol on the illicit manufacturing of and trafficking in firearms,
their parts, components and ammunition, annexed to the United Nations Convention
against transnational organized crime of November 15, 2000, adopted on May 31,
2001 in New York.
   Law of the Republic of Belarus of August 3, 2004 No. 309-Z brings in amendments
and alterations to the number of laws concerning the responsibility for the avoidance
of paying taxes and duties and the order of arrest of the property of a taxpayer.
   Law of the Republic of Belarus of August 3, 2004 No. 308-Z brings in amendments
and alterations to the Law of the Republic of Belarus On Customs Tariff. Amendments
concern sections III The Customs Value of Goods and IV Declaration of the
Customs Value of Goods of the Law on Customs Tariff. In particular, the methods
for estimating the customs value of goods and the order of their application,
and also the order of declaration of the customs value of goods are determined
by this Law.
   Decision of the Government of the Republic of Belarus of August 3, 2004 No.
936 determines that the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Belarus
of December 31, 2002 No. 1846 on temporal customs tariffs for goods imported
into the Republic of Belarus shall be applied to all European Union member-states.
