Law of the Republic of Belarus of November 28, 2003 No. 249-Z On Introducing Alterations to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Belarus brings in changes, in particular, to the Law of the Republic of Belarus On Advertising concerning the advertisement of alcohol and tobacco goods. According to a new edition of part seven- nine article 14 of the Law the advertisement of alcohol drinks on television or radio is prohibited and advertisement of tobacco goods on television and radio for the period from 7 a.m. till 10 p.m. is prohibited. The new edition also establishes other requirements to the advertisement of alcohol drinks and tobacco products.

Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of November 28, 2003 No. 24 On Obtaining and Usage of Foreign Gratuitous Aid abolishes the Decree of the President of March 12, 2001 No. 8 and establishes that foreign gratuitous aid shall be registered in a Department on Humanitarian Activity at the Administrative Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus. The Department can establish the amount and cost of goods and kinds of foreign gratuitous aid that are not subject to registration. Foreign aid obtained in cash is subject to be put on accounts into banks of the Republic of Belarus in 5 banking days term. The Decree also establishes the purposes of obtaining the aid so the usage of the aid according with those purposes is freed from payment of customs duties, value added tax, excises, profit tax, etc.

Law of the Republic of Belarus of November 11, 2003 No. 251-Z On Introducing Alterations and Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Belarus On Physical Culture and Sport sets for the mentioned Law On Physical Culture and Sport in a new edition.
