It is strange that three years before the presidential election Lukashenka is speaking about some further new terms. It looks like he does not expect to endure till the end of this year at least, told the international coordinator of the Cahrter97 Andrei Sannikov, a member of the organizing committee of the civil campaign European Belarus, commenting on statements of Lukashenka to run for another presidential term.

US IMPOSED SANCTIONS ON THREE MORE BELARUSIAN COMPANIES

On 15 May the US Administration has imposed economic sanctions on three Belarusian companies the Belarusian Oil Trading House, Lakokraska and Steklovolokno. According to the Department of the Treasury, the financial assets of those companies are subject to freezing, should any such assets be found in the US. US-based corporations and individuals are prohibited from conducting any transactions with these entities.
