NEW ROUTE ON 25 MARCH (VIDEO)

An application on holding a demonstration and rally dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Belarusian National Republic on 25 March in Minsk had been passed to the Minsk city executive committee today. The street action is to be the main but not the only event in the anniversary programme. The action organisers said it on a press conference in Minsk.

UNKNOWN VANDALIZED CZECH REPUBLIC EMBASSY BUILDING

A glass in one of the windows of the building was broken; the Czech state flag was torn, a car belonging to the Czech mission was damaged. It all happened on February 2 in the evening, a representative of the Embassy of the Czech Republic to Belarus informed.

Situation with inflation rate in Belarus remain tight, the Ministry of Economy acknowledged, and if accept suggestion of the Ministry of Agriculture on increase in purchasing price of milk and meat, a 6-month inflation rate will be exceeded within a month, deputy minister of economy Uladzimir Adashkevich stressed.

But on the same day a teacher of Minsk school was dismissed for being a member of the United Civil party; a house search was held in the apartment of the Young Front activist in Polatsk, and an activist from Maladechna was summoned the KGB.
