Belarusian Economy Ministry has prepared a vast programme of state enterprises privatization. Talks with investors have started on some of enterprises. DZYANIS DZYANISAU IS KEPT IN REMAND PRISON NO.2 IN VITSEBSK

Radio Svaboda has been told about that by an officer in charge of the remand prison. On February 27 mother of the young activist, Raisa Dzyanisava, brought a parcel with food and warm clothes to her son. She is not allowed to meet with her son. As said by Raisa Dzyanisava, on February 28 a lawyer is to visit Dzyanis. She hopes to learn about charges from the lawyer.

LITHUANIA EXPLORING EXIT STRATEGY FOR BELARUS LEADER

LABOR ILLEGALS WILL BE DETECTED

Reinforced measures will be taken against employers for employment without concluding labor contracts, Economicheskaya Gazeta informs. These cases will be detected through purposeful checks conducted by state labor inspection, tax inspection, bodies of internal affairs and local authorities. The measures were developed by the government for involving the economically passive population into labor activities.

GRYZLOV: BELARUS AND RUSSIA SHOULD HOLD MORE MILITARY EXERCISES

Russian State Duma deputies have prepared a number of recommendations on further reinforcement of integration of Belarus and Russia, including the sphere of security. One of the principal issues of these recommendations is a suggestion to increase a number of joint exercises of the two states. It has been stated today in Pskov by State Duma speaker Boris Gryzlov at the 5th session of a standing seminar on the Parliamentary "union" of Belarus and Russia.

VESHNYAKOV: "UNION" REFERENDUM CAN TAKE PLACE IN 2007-2008

Alexander Veshnyakov, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Russia, told in an interview to a magazine "Union state" (Soyuznoe gosudarstvo) that referendum on constitutional act of the "union state" could take place in 2007-2008, Interfax informs. Legislation of Russia allows holding a referendum on draft constitutional act in any span of time, and in 2007 and 2008 as well, A. Veshnyakov said.
