AARWA DEMANDS PASSING NO-CONFIDENCE VOTE ON ISRAELI AMBASSADOR TO ARMENIA FEBRUARY 11.The Armenian Aryan Race-Worshipping Alliance (AARWA) demands passing a no-confidence vote on Israeli Ambassador to Armenia Rivka Koen (the residence in Tbilisi). The reason for that is the ambassador's statement that the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey early in the 20th century has nothing in common with the Jewish Holocaust. The AARWA regards such statements as cynical and as interference in Armenia's internal affairs. In its statement the AARWU points out that the Israel officially denies the Armenian Genocide, supporting Turkey and Azerbaijan in their anti-Armenian policy. The statement also points out that the number of Jew killed during the Holocaust, 6,000,000, is exaggerate. According to the AARWA, Jews representing Young Turks were participating in the Armenian Genocide (which is proved by indisputable evidence), which is the reason for their denying that fact. Besides, the AARWA voiced its protest with Armenian President Robert Kocharian against Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian's statement on the impossibility of developing the Armenian-Iranian cooperation in the security sphere. The AARWA also demands the adoption of the Law "On the Armenian Genocide", which would stipulate punishment for denying the fact of the Armenian Genocide. There is no political motive in the arrest of the specialist in Turkic philology Ruben Bojolyan, Ruben Balabanian, Bojolyan's lawyer, told ARMINFO. According to the lawyer, the reason for Bojolyan's arrest may have been his cooperation with Turkish mass media, in particular, with the TV 6 channel. This fact aroused Armenian special services suspicion. At the same time, the lawyer expressed doubts that the information reported to the aforementioned mass media might contain political or other state secrets. "It is yet early to say how well the charge brought against Murad Bojolyan is grounded," the lawyer said, commenting on the statement made by Deputy Minister of National Security Grigory Grigorian that there is ample evidence for bringing charges against Bojolyan. The lawyer did not say whether or not Bojolyan pleaded guilty, alleging the interests of his client. According to the lawyer, Bojolyan was interrogated only twice: once as a suspect and once as accused. Both the times the interrogations were conducted in the absence of the lawyer.
