local phone calls, officially introduced by the ArmenTel telecom

held negotiations with ArmenTel, will it be possible to introduce the
system.

result the government together with the parliament will consider
amending the law on telecoms. Particularly, the government is
considering ensuring competition on Armenia's telecoms market and is
planning to deprive ArmenTel of its monopoly.
ArmenTel's license has some legal inaccuracies playing into the
government's hands. So it should take advantage of them.
