The Information Channel Felist.Com -*-------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unity Way October 9, 2005 ------------------------------------------------------ The Wisdom of Acceptance by Andrei Yashurin Denial and acceptance are two integral parts of the life process. As we let go of that which doesn't serve us anymore, we need to stay open to the inflow of new blessings. What blocks our acceptance? So often it is our underlying feeling of inferiority and unworthiness, along with misunderstanding of what life is about. "I don't deserve it", some person may say, consciously or unconsciously. But if a certain blessing comes our way it means that we deserve it! Let us completely dismiss from our minds an idea that all good things results from struggle and much efforts. When we are harmonized with the flow of the Universal Life, we don't have to toil "in the sweat of our face". In truth, there is nothing unearned. But some of our blessings may come as the reward of our works of the past - perhaps the ones we're not aware of. What is more important to realize, our primary work is not a physical one. It is the inner work. By using our consciousness we form a mental magnet which attracts our good to us. "I am not worthy of it", someone may say. Yet we are worthy of all blessings which Life contains, because we're one with Life. We're Life in expression; and Life is constantly looking for ways of greater expression through us. "I have come so that you might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10), said Jesus. It is a mistake to think that "life more abundant" includes just some partial blessings available through faith. "Life more abundant" is the process of our evolutionary unfoldment. It is the pathway of greatness. As we step on this pathway and align ourselves with this universal purpose, all necessary blessings will be added to us. "If you become my disciples and pay attention to my sayings, these stones will serve you", said Jesus. Stones seem to be of no value. We treat them as obstacles on our way - but they are meant to serve us, to further our development. The whole world is God's Kingdom, and its resources are freely available to us. Why then people say that they are unworthy to use them? Unworthiness is such an illogical concept. Let us accept our place in the flow of ever-expanding life, and move along with it. Let us be happy now, right where we are, still knowing that we are ascending to greater happiness and success. It is not necessary to be displeased with ourselves. The same truth is applied to other people, too. There is no need to condemn and to criticize others - they are exactly at the point Life brought them to, and at the due time they will change for the better. New light will shine in their consciousness, and they will be easily transformed. It is good to be sympathetic toward those who suffer. But our sympathy should be balanced with wisdom. We may help them as much as God leads us to do so, but we should know that only the Truth will set them free. As we encounter a suffering person, we may silently affirm the following truth about her/him: "I behold the Light of God within you. I accept you as the perfect manifestation of Life - at this stage of unfoldment. I know that God's will is even greater expression of Life in you and through you. Challenges you go through were never meant to crush and destroy you, and they never will. Something beautiful is born within you, and it doesn't have to be painful. Let you know the Truth of who you are, and let this inner knowledge save you from unnecessary troubles. Let your emotions be calmed down, so that you might see clearly. Let your thoughts about yourself be harmonized with God's thoughts about you, and let your actions flow from that perfect awareness". ------------------------------------------------------ To be unsubscribed, click the link at the bottom of this message, do not write to the author. ------------------------------------------------------ http://unityway.net ~ Unity Way http://www.livejournal.com/users/unityman ~ Talks on Truth Blog Andrei Yashurin: yashurin@gmail.com If you like our list, please recommend it to others.
