All events of our life are subject to the law of attraction.
Knowing this, we may welcome every occurence as an opportunity.
We may rest in confidence that every encounter has the potential
to bless and to empower us.
Let us get rid of an idea that we are either rewarded or
punished. Consequences - even painful ones - are not punishments
of a vindicative God, but still another opportunities to understand
the world and ourselves deeper than ever before. Supportive
and generous universe always gives us the feedback we need
for better alignment with it. The fact that we aren't able
to go through life smoothly and with ease indicates that
we haven't learned some lessons sufficiently. The Great
Teacher draws our special attention to those aspects of
our life where growth is needed.
"What's wrong?", people ask when something unpleasant happens.
But such approach won't lead us to greater understanding.
There is nothing wrong with not knowing something. Only
consistent refusal of knowledge is wrong. As long we
maintain mental openness and view our life as the learning
experience, we will be benefited form everything which
happens with us.
A tendency to blame others and to bemoan lack of opportunities
is a sure symptom of unwillingness to learn.
Blame is such a widespread attitude mostly because we were
culturally programmed to believe that "others" have the
power over us. This fundamental error lies at the root
of all sorts of negative reactions, such as fear, envy,
and resentment. But awareness of the truth of our being
brings us freedom from them all. Our life is lived from
within-out. The Kingdom of God with all of its potential
is within us. We have the power to create favourable
conditions and opportunities for our best expression.
"The goods which belong to you gravitate to you", wrote
Ralph Emerson. This power of attraction is irresistible.
So, the first thing for us is to engage in inner work and
to develop our talents. In due time, soul unfoldment will
draw to us necessary opportunities for outward manifestation
of those gifts.
"Trust thyself: every heart vibrates to that iron string.
Accept the place the divine providence has found for you,
the society of your contemporaries, the connexion of events.
Great men have always done so, and confined themselves
childlike to the genius of their age", continues Emerson.
Here is the great wisdom: small people often wish to be
somewhere else, not where they are now. They fail to see
that God placed them at the certain place for the reason,
and this reason is their development and expression.
You may affirm: "I accept my place in life as the place
of unlimited opportunities". This will be the beginning
of wisdom. Then, you may rely upon your genius -
the Spirit of God within, the source of guidance,
new ideas, and inspiration.
Meaning of all aspects of our challenges may not be
revealed to us fully and completely. But it would be wrong
to remain inactive, waiting for all-round understanding.
Looking within, we will always find a tiny ray of light,
a seed of inspiration. By following it, by acting upon it,
we will come to more light and greater inspiration.
We always know enough to make a right step. Our knowledge
is sufficient for the day.
"A journey of a thousand miles starts with one step".
