The Information Channel Felist.Com -*-------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unity Way August 28, 2005 ------------------------------------------------------ Principles of Creativity by Andrei Yashurin Every person is destined to be a creator and a co-creator with God. The goal of spiritual growth is to put an individual into the creative flow, to open him or her to the outpouring of divine ideas which are waiting for the opportunity to be brought into the manifestation. "Every idea originating in Divine Mind is expressed in the mind of man; through the thought of man the Divine Mind idea is brought to the outer plane of consciousness", writes Charles Fillmore. Why do some people fail in their creative efforts? It will become clear to us as we study principles of creativity. And He said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; and should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knows not how. For the earth brings out fruit of itself, first the blade, then the ear, after that the full grain in the ear. But when the fruit has been brought out, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come. Mark 4:27-29 Divine idea can be likened to the seed. When the seed is planted into the ground, there is always a period of hidden development. Nothing appears at the surface. It looks like nothing happens at all; and yet the seed grows. The same happens with us. After divine idea is embraced, it should become strong and mature in the recipient's mind. At this point, some people obstruct God's creative process by rushing into immediate action. They assume that since an idea came from God, it is good enough, and nothing should be added to it. But they are wrong. Before the fruit will appear, the seed should go through succeeding stages of unfoldment. When the idea comes to you, take enough time to meditate on it. It has been said that thoughts are things. Yet, some thoughts are more substantial and powerful than others. Why? Because sufficient amount of mental energy was invested into nurturing of those thoughts. When you add to the idea another idea of a similar character, it will become a complex thought form. Ideas will begin to interact and to grow even further. It is easy to notice the similarity with processes within the seed. Certain aspects of this new thought form will need further development, others, on the contrary, should be removed. Every branch that does not bear fruit should be taken away, but every fruit-bearing branch needs to be pruned. Some ideas aren't successful because they appear before the due time. It has been rightly said that there is time for every thing under the sun. The idea could be good in itself, but not good for the present circumstances and for other people, which will cause its rejection. In some cases, creative efforts fail because people proceed to think and to act not in agreement with the Mind of God. "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1), says the Bible. Having the free will, people may use it to do things on their own, without consulting with the Spirit. As the result, their mental and physical creations aren't permanent. They are easily destroyed, because anything which goes against the Universal Order cannot stand. ------------------------------------------------------ To be unsubscribed, click the link at the bottom of this message, do not write to the author. ------------------------------------------------------ http://pcjournal.ru/talks ~ Talks on Truth Andrei Yashurin: yashurin@gmail.com If you like our list, please recommend it to others.
