"It is perfectly logical to assume that a wise and competent
Creator would provide for the needs of His creatures in their
various stages of growth. The supply would be given as required
and as the necessary effort for its appropriation was made by
the creature. Temporal needs would be met by temporal things,
mental needs by things of like character, and spiritual needs
by spiritual elements", wrote Charles Fillmore in his
book "Prosperity". Divine provision has to be all-encompassing.
All our needs has to be abundantly supplied. Nothing should
be omitted.
There are no valid reasons why we should avoid thinking and
speaking in terms of abundance, prosperity, and financial
success. God is love, and it is in the nature of love to bless
and to supply those who are loved.
Some people say that life is struggle, and we need to fight
for our survival with all our might. But there is another
perspective: our universe is a friendly place, an ideal
environment where we may express and develop our talents.
Since God brought us into existence, He already prepared
all which is necessary for us. Divine provision is ready,
waiting for our permission to come into our lives.
We shouldn't seek prosperity as if it is something unnatural
or uncommon. This would only prove that we don't believe
in abundance as our natural estate. Rather, let us realize
that prosperity is our nature. We are prosperous now.
Financial difficulties which we may experience are always
temporary. We created them for ourselves in ignorance. They
have nothing to do with the true reality of our being.
How can we keep channels of prosperity open?
One of the most important prosperity practices is meditation.
We've been talking about the importance of meditation for
inner transformation and understanding of who we are. But
it might bring us even more benefits.
The fact is, even if we ask for money God rarely gives us
money. Yet, it is not the reason to become disappointed,
because me receive something of greater value. God gives
us ideas concerning our life and our work. Those ideas are
meant to make us more effective in what we are doing, or,
perhaps, to lead us into another area of activity.
Gifts of God come to us in seed form. Those seeds should be
planted and watered before fruits will appear. By doing so,
we fulfill our part as conscious and responsible co-creators
with God.
The next important factor is work. After sufficient amount
of inner work, we need outer action. It has been said that
faith without works is dead. Works are actions which naturally
flow from our exalted awareness. In other words, we need
to act upon prosperous ideas which come to our minds.
Those who believe in their abundance are always known by
generosity. They are convinced that the universal substance,
the source of all wealth, can never be exhausted. Being guided
by the Spirit within, they boldly use their resources. As they
give, more will be given to them.
Here are some of affirmations we may use to realize our prosperity:
Ideas of prosperity are increasing in me and I find abundance everywhere. I live abundant life, letting go of all worries and fears. I attract riches and wealth, for myself and my loved ones. Blessings and riches come to me in greater measure as I allow myself to become a cheerful giver. Through faith and understanding, I enter into the kingdom of abundance. Through my positive thoughts and words, I open the channels which bring prosperity to me. I am one with God's prospering love.
