God is Order.
As we enter into meditation, we may start with a thought:
"Divine Order, be manifested in me! I claim and accept it now."
Unfortunately, not all believers are aware of this aspect
of God. To them, God is capricious and unpredictable. Such
an approach can bring nothing but chaos into spiritual life
of an individual, because it breeds underlying feeling of
insecurity and instability, from which there is no reasonable
escape. If the Ground of Being is shaky, where will we go?
But, as someone wisely said, "order is heaven's first law".
It is also earth's first law. Nothing just happens. There
are no such things as lack, coincidence, or random chance.
Everything is connected in perfect order. There is also no
such thing as injustice, because the concept of injustice
ignores the law of cause and effect.
The idea of God as Order goes hand in hand with the idea
of God as Love. They are not separated, but are parts of
the same great Whole. That's why thinking about Divine Order
doesn't make me scary. This Order is friendly. It is meant
for our highest good. It assures me that everything in my
life is meaningful and purposeful - even those things I
usually pay no attention to, even those things I may
ignorantly label as "bad" or "evil".
My business, therefore, is to discover meaning and purpose
of all that comes to me, accepting it as God's loving
provision. It is up to me to bless those gifts, and, by
applying wisdom and understanding, to make them truly mine.
What are the results? As we stay attuned to God through
meditation, we discontinue our vain struggles. Everything
in our lives flows smoothly and orderly.. Every wind carries
us forward, to our desired goal. All things are working
together for our good. We progress. We rejoice.
God is Source.
As we enter into meditation, we may start with a thought:
"Divine Abundance, be manifested in me! I claim and accept
it now."
"It is perfectly logical to assume that a wise and competent
Creator would provide for the needs of His creatures in their
various stages of growth. The supply would be given as required
and as the necessary effort for its appropriation was made
by the creature", wrote Charles Fillmore. I cannot but agree.
Is there a possible reason why God would make things any
other way?
Again, he wrote: "The inexhaustible resource of spirit is
equal to every demand. There is no reality in lack. Abundance
is here and now manifest!"
Abundance is all around us - but people often are shut into
small worlds of their own making. Their perspective is too
limited. They don't lift up their eyes to see beyond a circle
of problems and challenges, where they find themselves
struggling and fighting for their lives.
"Don't bother me with that 'spirituality'! Let's get real!",
they may say, not realizing that the reality they are looking
for is much bigger that they see - and more beautiful than
they imagine.
Our lives are formed by our vision. To get beyond our current
level of life, we need to grow beyond our vision of life
and ourselves. It is easy to notice that our early years,
when we weren't mature enough to think for ourselves, were
largely conditioned by our parents and our surrounding. Their
fears and low expectations could left marks of pessimism and
negativity upon us - but, happily, their influence is not fatal.
Now, as we became adults, we can accept full responsibility
for ourselves. We can re-write our mental programs. We can
train our perception to see abundance which is everywhere
present.
The voice of God whispers into our hearts, "All what the Father
has, is yours". Let us become quiet enough to listen to it -
and to believe it.
There is only one Presence, and there is only one Power in my life - God's Presence, God's Power. I see the presence of God in all things, in all people, and in all circumstances. I am attuned to the wellspring of God's wisdom. I am opened to God's abundance. In my mind, I am lifted above consciousness of human race and its limitations. I live, and move, and have my being in the realm of perfect divine ideas. I grow in realization and appropriation of my good - and I am grateful.
