This is one of the key teachings of the Bible. Richard Bach wrote that a mark of our ignorance is the depth of our belief in injustice. Belief in injustice implies that God is either absent from this world, or not loving enough, or not powerful enough. All this is not true. God is present. God is powerful. God is loving. But people could be often blind to see this (and blindness to the Truth is ignorance). "Of Him and through Him and to Him are all things" (Romans 11:36), wrote Paul. All things are naturally good. All things are gifts of God. All things are working together for good. All things are working together towards God. What we see before our eyes is a process of creation, not its outcome. We are often taught to take life as it is. But we can't take anything in this natural world "as it is" without diminishing it, without restricting its inherent potential. Life is not finished. Everything in life is a work in progress. "What an ugly stone", we may say. But a sculptor sees a beautiful figure, imprisoned in this stone. "What an ugly rug", we may say. But an artist sees it as a beautiful place to paint a picture. "What a chaos", we may say. But the perfect divine order grows out of chaos, as it takes definite forms and shapes. When we choose to believe that everything works together for good, we see events as building blocks. All of them are useful for construction of our life. Let us be careful lest we reject a stone that could be a cornerstone. "All things are working together for good" implies that there is a period of "working", when the final results of processes are not evident. People of little wisdom often do not have enough patience to wait until the work is done, trusting in divine laws. "I want it all, and I want it now", cries out the spirit of this age. But God, certainly, is not an author of this childish desire. "All things working together for good" implies that we may not see the power that is working behind visible manifestations. "Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment" (John 7:24), said Jesus. Seeing beyond appearances is a mark of true enlightenment. Could it be hard to accept truth beyond appearances? People did not know anything about radio waves before they were discovered, because humans do not have organs to detect them. Our earth appears to be flat, and for centuries people believed that it is flat. Only when they started to travel to long distances, developed the science, and flied into the space, they found that it is a globe. There are many other proofs that certain things which appear to be real, are but illusions. Let our attention stay focused on God, on the Kingdom of God within ourselves. Let we recognize that all the power to be creators was given to us. This will develop in our minds a permanent consciousness of creative flow, and all the thoughts of our powerlessness and dependency will wither and be thrown away. "There is a blessing for everything", says an old Rabbi in "The Fiddler on the Roof" movie. This is true. There is a blessing for everything, because everything is a blessing. Don't ever curse things or events by pronouncing them bad or evil. Bless everything that comes to you with the highest blessing you can think of. And if you can't think of one, ask God to enlarge your heart. Do not be offended by your life experiences. Do not be offended at God.
