But we all, with our face having been unveiled, having beheld the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are being changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Lord Spirit.

Someone wisely said that we get what we see. Our life is shaped and re-shaped by the vision that we hold in our minds. Many heard about this law, but only few took it deeply into their hearts. Before any major positive change in our life occurs, our vision of ourselves should be lifted to a new level.

When we are looking for healing, this is the first question we need to ask ourselves, "What kind of vision do I have before my inner eyes? What is the vision of my health?"

Basically, we have two options. We can either see ourselves as we are now, assuming that it is the only possible reality for us. We can behold our sicknesses, physical imperfections and limitations, thinking that it is the kind of life we cannot escape, a part of Gods plan for us. Or, we can "look up" and see ourselves as we are called to be in God.

We have an option to see ourselves as children of the Most High God, filled with His pure and radiant energy and expressing Him in our world.
It is possible for us to see ourselves as healthy, whole, and sound in body, mind and spirit.
It is possible when we will turn to God and fill our minds with His ideas.

How can we develop a positive mental vision of ourselves? I think that Bible is one of the tools that can be used for such purpose. Every time you read accounts of healings, performed by Jesus, imagine that you are standing close to Him in the crowd. Imagine how blind begin to see, death begin to hear, and cripple begin to walk. When this picture will become alive in you, you can make another step. Imagine that the hand of Jesus is touching you. Imagine that Gods power is flowing into every cell of your body. Imagine how you are getting well, and how you express your joy. Hold on to that mental image, and dont let it go.

Then, you can imagine that you are the channel of healing. Christ is in you, and His power is pouring on others through you. See how you touch people, and they are recovered. See how you perform healing actions. See how you plant seeds of healing, and they are returned back to you multiplied. See how you reap what you saw in abundant measure.

Let us see ourselves as healed, as whole, and as healers. What we see is what we will get!

As we behold the image of our wholeness, our prayers will change. We will forget the time when we begged God for something that we did not have, being filled with fear and desperation. Instead, we will express our deep and sincere gratitude for all that is already ours, even if it is not fully manifested.

With the eyes of our understanding enlightened, we will know how precious is our inheritance in God, and how great is His mighty power, working in us and raising us up in Christ far above all negative physical appearances (Ephesians 1:17-21).
