The Information Channel Felist.Com -*-------------------------------------------------------------------------- UNITY WAY May 5, 2002 ------------------------------------------------------ What Do I Bring to a Pity Party By Andrei Yashurin I bring to a pity party a two-edged sword of the Spirit, which is able to cut from my consciousness all that doesnt agree with my highest good. I bring to a pity party a healing balm of Gods love, the one that is perfect, the one that is all-encompassing, the one that is unconditional. I bring to a pity party the light of Gods Truth, which is able to cast away the darkness of ignorance of true meaning of my life and my experiences. I bring to a pity party the gold of the realization of how rich I am in God, how unlimited are the possibilities that are open before me. Pity party is a place where my old, negative and limiting thoughts and beliefs challenge me, where they are trying to put me down and to stop my spiritual progress. It is a place where I am destined to overcome, because all of my outward victories will grow out of this inner victory. I choose to be an overcomer, and I allow God to guide me to the way of victory. I am willing to face the truth that there is no one to blame. In fact, every time people blame themselves, other people, circumstances or just bad luck, they blame God for allowing certain negative things to come to their lives. As I come to a pity party, I choose to forgive God and to realize that He is the source of all good and only good. Only good and perfect gifts come down from the Father of lights (James 1:17). All things that happen with me work together for my good (Romans 8:28). Nobody and nothing can separate me from the love of Christ (Romans 8:35). Pity party is a place where I choose to accept responsibility for all the things my life contains. I am the creator and a co-creator with God, not a weak and powerless victim. I am ready and willing to accept my creative power, and to use it to the best of my understanding. As I come to a pity party, I turn my face from my seeming problems and failures, and look straight to God. I quit talking to myself and start talking to God. Yes God! I let go of fear and replace it with love. Yes God! I let go of guilt and replace it with assurance. Yes God! I repent of my old ways of thinking about myself, and I accept Your ways. I accept Your truth. I accept Your abundant life. ------------------------------------------------------ You can read our current articles at the newly opened Web site, Positive Christianity E-zine: http://pczine.net ------------------------------------------------------ Due to the courtesy of Michael Eilermann, you can now receive a free ebook All Things Are Yours.
