Proverbs 4:20-23

Healing is more than bringing of our body to a state of soundness and harmonious action. To be truly healed by God is to be restored to the state of being where we become a radiant expression of all of His qualities. Divine healing links us to the Source of all life and makes us a channel of life.

Therefore, permanent healing is accomplished not through outward means (no matter how spiritual they seem to be), but in the stillness of our hearts, when we attune ourselves to the voice of God. When we open ourselves to His word, we become rooted and grounded in the Truth of our being. We come to the firm realization that we are much more than what we appear to be from the outside. We are not so weak as we often assume. Coming to our spiritual senses, we begin to see that we are one with divine life. We begin to perceive our body as whole and vibrant. The issues of life flow out of our heart, bringing healing and complete restoration to us and to many others.

Why divine Truth, expressed through His Word, is able to heal? Because all sicknesses and diseases are rooted in error, just as sin is rooted in error. We become sick (whether in our soul or in our body) when we live blindly, not knowing about the laws of our existence. By breaking those laws, we break ourselves against those laws and become sick. The best remedy, then, is to return to the point where we failed, and to deal with causes, not with effects. The Word is able to help us in this process of an inner transformation.

My word which goes out of My mouth, shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall certainly do what I sent it to do.
Isaiah 55:11

Diligent attention is the key phrase we need to have in mind when it comes to healing. It took us many years to build a consciousness that brought us mental, emotional and physical troubles. It will take some time to raise our consciousness to the level where we will realize divine harmony and perfection. Our responsibility is to do our part in working together with God, which is to repent (to let go) of all error thoughts, sick attitudes, and destructive habits, and to believe in the good news of Gods love toward us, and our unity with this healing love.

When we seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness, in other words, when we set our minds to live according to Gods Truth, all things will be added to us. Our healing will grow day after day, enabling us to glorify God in our renewed body.

But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more to the perfect day.
