Recently, in one of online forums, I was asked how can one
become a possibility thinker, and I am confident that it's
one of the best questions we may address to ourselves and to
others.
To me, living as a possibility thinker is about finding
and expressing of who I really am.
There are a lot of practical ways to become a possibility
thinker, there are thousands upon thousands of practical
advises that people may follow. There are thousands of good
and useful materials around for those who are willing to
look for them. And I dont mention the Holy Spirit,
the greatest teacher within us, who is eager to teach
us how to be possibility thinkers. So, the question for us
is really not how to start, or where to get an information,
but why we dont use all the knowledge that we have. As one
of the authors said, so many people are educated far beyond
their level of obedience.
The journey of a thousand miles starts with one step, but
this step needs to be taken. It does not have to be a leap.
And we dont need to be concerned if this step is exactly
the right one, because it really does not matter. If we will
make mistake, we will be corrected, and will become wiser.
It is the determination that counts.
I think that the best initial step we can take is to know
ourselves, to discover who we really are, what are our
relationships with God and with life.
In few words, my definition of who I am is this:
I am a child of God, loved and blessed by Him. I am a heir
of His kingdom and all of its possibilities, and I have all
the rights to enjoy good things that He created and to share
them with others. I am sent to this earth with a special
mission from God I need to accomplish. God communicates this
mission to me through ideas and desires that He gives me,
therefore, I need to be sensitive to them and willing to
act on them. More than that, I am not left alone in fulfilling
my vision God is my ever-present Helper, and His power is
available to me to do good. Me and God work as one team!
Finally, I do realize that I am connected with other people,
and my life purpose is to be a blessing to them and to
develop our relationships. I do believe that these things
are true not only for me, but for everybody, for God is not
partial, He loves us all.
When I do really know these things, most of my questions
about success disappear. Where will I get power to live
possibilities? God will grant me this power. Where will
I get ideas? God is more willing to give them to me than
I am willing to receive. Is a success about the finances?
Not exactly the point is to fulfill divine plan and to
bless the world. However, the money will come, because God
loves me and takes care of me. Will God get mad at me if
I will make a mistake and fail? Never, because parents never
get mad at children that stumble while learning to walk.
Will I get another opportunity if I missed one? Exactly,
as long as I am determined to act and not to whine.
He loves me too much to let me stay a failure forever.
