Rabbi Eliyahu Brudny, Maggid Shiur Yeshivat Mir, will give lecture in our shul tomorrow, Thursday, Iyar 13 5762 (April, 25, 2002), 9:30pm.

Subject of the lecture is "Sukkah Yashanah" ("Old Sukkah") by Tractate Sukkah of Talmud, Daf tet amud alef. Lecture is for men only. Please bring your Gemarah (volume of Talmud) with you.

We are having Anniversary this week!

Five years ago, Shabbos Parshas Emor, our congregation had for the first time full Shabbos service in Young Israel of Midwood.

In celebretion of this date, board of Kehilas Moreshes Yaakov is making Kiddush in our synagogue this Shabbos.

All members and friends are invited.

As per urge of leading Raboim of this difficult time, ladies of our congregation will continue saying Tehillim. We are planing to have this program to go on throu the whole Summer. Ladies will try to say at least three chapters of Tehillim (Chapters 83, 130, and 142).

Starting this Shabbos Parshas Emor, we are changing time of it. From now and on it will be 5:00pm every Shabbos.

For your convinience we will have two locations:
  - in our synagogue
  - and in house of Family Fradman (1640 East 21 Street, Brooklyn, NY)

All ladies and girls age over Bat Mitzva are invited.
