Dear Members and Friends of Kehilas Moreshes Yaakov:

This year Tisha Be'Av falls on Motzay Shabbath, which is making some difference
and creating difficulties.

Please note the difference: Mincha is 1 hour before usual time!
Tisha Be'Av schedule:
Saturday July 28

Reading Eicha follows
Sunday July 29
Shacarith 8:00am
Kinoth 9:15am
Mincha 7:30pm
Shkiya 8:14pm
Fast Ends 9:05pm
Tisha Be'Av is 25 houres fast and also all rules of mourning applied.
Because this year Tisha Be'Av falls on Motzey Shabbat it is differnt than last
year.
You cannot make any preparations for Tisha Be'Av before Shabbath ends.
If you leave further than 5 minutes walking (3 minutes driving) from the shul,
you got to bring slippets into shul before Shabbath. If you have low chair same
rule applies. No leather shoes please!
If you cannot make Shalosh Seudoth home, we will have one in the shul. However,
Shalosh Seudoth MUST be finished (Birkath Amazon said) before Shkiya!
And one more suggestion: drink seltzer and spring water during whole Shabbath.
It will help you stay on fast.
With questions, please, call Rabbi Binsky.
Have an easy fast!
Sincerely yours,
Isroel Akerman
