Once in decade there is a greate opportunity to learn and grow!

We would like to invite all men for a Daf-Yomi shiur which will begin tonight at 9:15 PM (right after Maariv) in our shul.

In 1923, Rabbi Meir Shapiro, a great scholar, founder of famous Yeshiva of Lublin and member of the Polish parliament (no less), proposed the idea of the entire Jewish world learning the same "daf" (two-sided page) of Talmud every day ("yom"). Thus the Daf Yomi was born, building solidarity with Jews worldwide by literally putting everyone on the same page. At that rate it takes seven-and-a-half years of daily commitment to complete the Talmudic cycle.

Daf-Yomi shiur is like an everyday train leaving the station punctually at 9:15 p.m., rain or shine, and whoever is on board will enjoy the ride. But If by a chance you'll miss a class, you'll have only 24 hours to make it up. The next day train will leave one station further down the line.

We are starting Mesachta Berachos tonight.

You don't need to be a Torah scholar in order to participate in the Daf-Yomi, just bring your outgrowing personality!

Please come for Maariv tonight before 9:00 p.m. in order to start our first shiur on time.

Rabbi Avraham Binsky
