The revealed nature of the joy of the day is that on this day the strength of the land of Israel is renewed and it begins to yield its produce. It is specifically through the fruits of the land that Israel is praised as the verse states: "A land of wheat and barley, of vines, figs, and pomegranates, a land of olives and honey" (Deuteronomy 8:8).
